Contractors & builders

Rebuilding attracts both the trades you need and people who follow disasters to take deposits and leave. Washington keeps a public record you can check yourself, for free, in about a minute.

Check a contractor before you pay anyone

Washington L&I publishes registration, bond and insurance status for every registered contractor.

Never pay a large deposit up front, never pay in cash without a receipt, and be wary of anyone who approached you first after the fires.

The contractor directory is not open yet

There is no application form here yet, and nothing on this page collects your details. Saying so plainly is better than a form that goes nowhere.

If you want to be told when it opens, write to support@spokanefirehousing.com. Send a name and a website — nothing else is needed yet.

Everything here will be subject to the community guidelines.

What a listing here will and will not say
